Our 51 bedrooms are all equipped with ensuite facilities, colour television, direct dial telephones, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Twenty one rooms are located in the historic main building and possess original features, whilst rooms in the annexe have a more contemporary feel, and provide easier access as due to planning restrictions we are unable to install a lift in the main house.
The hotel makes a great place to stay with its central location, and once you have parked your car you can explore the town on foot.

William Verrel the celebrated 18th century chef originally owned the White Hart from 1737 to 1760 and he introduced French Cuisine to the British public, his recipe book is still in print today.
