Tregortha is a traditional stone-built Victorian villa from the 19th century. Breakfast with a view in our sunny conservatory overlooking the beautiful Kyles of Bute. Comfortable, friendly accommodation on Argyll's Secret Coast. Ideally situated to explore the surrounding countryside and islands of Bute, Islay and further afield. There is a choice of eating places / pubs all within easy walking distance of Tregortha.

We are really looking forward to welcome our guests to Tregortha Guesthouse.
Both of us have spent most of our lives in and around hotels and working in customer-focused jobs including several years' experience on cruise ships with Princess Cruises, a decade in a beautiful, family owned five star hotel, The Goring in London (the only hotel to have been awarded a Royal Warrant for hospitality services in 2013), managing events and conferences and last but not least financial auditing of different hotel brands.

The Cowal Way in Argyll is known as 'Scotland in 57 miles'.
The Cowal Way ranks as one of Scotland's most scenic long distance routes.
It begins at Portavadie in the southwest, where the ferry runs from Tarbert in Kintyre, passes trough Tighnabruaich and the way to end at Inveruglas on the shores of Loch Lomond.
The lovely island of Bute is twenty minutes away by road and ferry from Colintraive.
The busy town of Rothesay is well worth a visit with plenty of shops inc.
Mount Stewart is a day trip in itself.
