The Fludyers Hotel is a vibrant pub, restaurant and hotel located in a beautifully restored Edwardian building on the Suffolk coastline, just yards from the beach. Please call 01394 691929 for table bookings. Room bookings can be made through the website. Built in 1903, this landmark hostelry has welcomed guests since Felixstowe's days as a fashionable Edwardian seaside destination.

Today you'll find a welcoming pub offering up a range of real ales and fine bar snacks. There's also a restaurant that serves our head chefs' modern interpretation of British classics. If you fancy staying over, we have 12 rooms, plus a mews apartment and accessible mews room, all furnished in contemporary style and kitted out with Samsung flatscreens and walk-in showers plus a 24-hour reception.

Our hand-stitched beds - all superking or kingsize - are dressed with feather-and-down bedding, while most rooms boast stunning views. We also have a fabulous outdoor terrace, perfect for those leisurely sunny afternoons and long summer evenings - oh, and did we mention the views?
Services
This handsome building dates back to 1903, although according to the record books, there's been a Fludyer Arms on the site since 1839.
The building even played its part in the Second World War - our fantastic beachfront location led to a machine gun being installed in the restaurant in 1940.
In recent years The Fludyers has sadly suffered from a lack of investment.
Roseberry Developments acquired the property and added a modern extension in addition to major restoration and refurbishment of the original building.
Breakfast is served between 7:30am and 10:45am on weekdays and from 8am till 10:45am at weekends.
Lunch is between noon and 3pm, while dinner runs from 6pm til 9.00pm, Monday to Saturday (for Sunday service times see below).
Our restaurant is a delightful panelled room (complete with the ubiquitous sea views) where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Adjacent you'll find our Tidal room, so named because it can function as part of the restaurant or the bar - it goes with the flow, depending on demand.
Real-ale fans will love our public bar.
We've made the most of having Adnams, one of the UK's top breweries, on our doorstep - and where better to enjoy the 'beer from the coast' than right by the beach?.
You can also relish a pint of Woodfordes' Wherry or sample one of our guest beers.
Meanwhile, if you're feeling peckish, we offer tasty snacks, such as Scotch eggs, cod goujons or tempura prawns.
You are also welcome to enjoy food from the menu in the bar or on the terrace.
You'll find few nicer places to watch the sunset than our outside terrace.
Felixstowe enjoys a unique position, perched on a peninsula between the rivers Orwell and Deben.
The Orwell is home to Britain's busiest container port, the Port of Felixstowe, which is where the impressive ships you'll see from the Fludyers' are headed.
At the mouth of the Deben sits the sleepy little hamlet of Felixstowe Ferry, and you couldn't imagine a bigger contrast.
