Seggat Farm consists of two self catering cottages set in the middle of the rolling Aberdeenshire countryside. It is a peaceful haven with beautiful unspoilt views and plenty of wildlife. It is situated just off the A947 about 30 minutes north of Aberdeen and is the ideal base to explore this northern corner of the country. Both the east and northern coastlines can be reached in less than 30 minutes, as can the Cairngorms National Park to the west.
There are many walks, beaches or castles to visit; or if you are keen at fishing, riding or shooting these are easily arranged for you. And don't forget the Whisky Trail! The nearest village to our self catering accommodation is Auchterless which is just a short walk from the farm. For local shops and castles you needn't go much further with Fyvie Village and Castle 10 minutes to the south and Turriff farming town with its own heritage museum, swimming pool and boating lake to the north.
