Set in Scotland in the glorious Fife countryside, just 10 miles from St Andrews and 5 miles from Dundee, Sandford Country Cottages consists of six luxury, 5 star self-catering properties which are part of Sandford House, a 'B' Listed Arts and Crafts House designed by the well-known architect, Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott around 1902. The properties are mainly part of the courtyard at Sandford House and have been restored in keeping with the Arts and Crafts style of the older part of the house.
Each property has its own entrance door and outdoor terrace or balcony, with all properties sharing the large 7 acre garden with areas suitable for picnics, walking and relaxing. Each property has an open plan kitchen, living and dining room with wood-burning stove (apart from Red Squirrel) and they are all furnished in a boutique style to a very high standard with a mixture of contemporary and antique furniture.
Our new treehouse is proving to be popular with children and adults alike and our new BBQ hut is also available for guests to hire when staying.
