Furzeleigh Mill is a small country hotel within the Dartmoor National Park situated not far from the Devon Expressway equidistant between Plymouth and Exeter and in between the ancient towns of Ashburton and Buckfastleigh. Having started life in 1547 as a Spring fed Corn Mill Furzeleigh has been a hotel for around the last 100 years. A new Family Business since 2018, Furzeleigh Mill offers 10 bright and cosy en-suite bedrooms, an extended bar and the former Mill Room which is now our newly refurnished restaurant.
We pride ourselves on great food, locally sourced and freshly prepared and friendly service. We have added a stunning terrace in the south facing grounds of the building and are systematically upgrading our offering. We host a number of events such as Gin Nights, Food and Wine Pairing Evenings and some tasteful Live Music Events. Mardle is a smart single room on the first floor at Furzeleigh Mill.
