2021 is our last season as a Bed and Breakfast. We have loved welcoming our guests, especially those who have visited regularly, and it has been a privilege to help you to relax, enjoy your holidays and make the most of your time in this wonderful part of the world. Living in such a stunning part of Scotland we are very aware of our impact upon the area in which we live.
We want to ensure that we preserve as much as possible of both the environment and the cultural heritage to ensure that future generations will be able to enjoy them as much as we, and our guests, do.
We have achieved this by improving the thermal efficiency of the house and by installing micro generation schemes.
To date we have installed solar thermal panels for hot water, solar photo voltaic panels for electricity and a ground source heat pump to provide our heating and hot water top-up.

For shopping there is a well supplied Co-op, bakery and an ice cream shop in Brora and a small Spar in Helmsdale.
Golspie has a good butcher and good fishmonger.
Larger supermarkets are available in Tain, Wick, Thurso, Invergordon and Inverness.
We are happy to help with advice and making reservations and if you are cycling or plan to enjoy a drink with your meal we can help you to arrange transport.
