We booked an overnight stay whilst attending a family birthday celebration in the area.
We were initially a bit dismayed at the appearance of the property but we were given a warm welcome by the young man who opened the door to us.
The outside and inside would benefit from a refurbishment and decorating plus the addition of a few things to relieve the bareness of the walls.
Having said all that, the whole interior, including the rooms, was spotlessly clean(a few cobwebs on the outsides of the windows!) and the towels provided plus thelinen on the very comfortable beds were fresh and clean.

Windsor Racecourse is situated between Windsor and Maidenhead and has excellent access to most major motorway networks and rail services.
The course is laid out in the form of a figure eight just over a mile and a half in length, the final five furlongs of which are virtually straight.
Six furlong races start on an extension to this straight.
There are three different areas: the Club enclosure, the Grandstand Enclosure and the Silver Ring.
All enclosures have TOTE betting facilities, bookmakers and access to the centre of the course.
