We have spectacular views of the Solway Firth with the background of the Lake District. We provide ample secure parking spaces within the grounds, set beside a mature wood providing a haven of wildlife.
We have 2 red squirrels which you may see from time to time, also a family of owls which make an appearance early evening, and at breakfast it is not uncommon to watch deer run through the fields. Outside there is a large terrace with seating/dining facilities weather permitting. Children and very welcome although cots are not provided, children under 5years are free of charge.

The guest lounge, which faces south, is a bright warm sunny room with a large picture window with spectacular views over the Solway and the Lake District.
This room boast a large open log fire, comfortable sofas and easy chairs.
Tea and coffee with chocolates are served in the evenings.
Our double room has a double bed with a memory foam mattress and bedding of a high standard with large lamps which are excellent for reading.
There is a large wardrobe with full length mirror and a chest of drawers to store clothes.

Short coastal walks or more challenging walks through the Galloway forest or along the wonderful unspoiled coastline.
We have 3 golf courses within 20 minutes.
Powfoot which is a links course, or pretty but challenging courses at Lochmaben and Lockerbie.
If, however, you would like to explore the area there is Samye Ling which 20 minutes away, the largest Buddhist Centre in Europe, well worth visiting this amazing monastery.
There are a number of market towns worth visiting, Moffatt, Gretna and Lockerbie are 15 minutes away.
