Cleaver Cottage is a charming, friendly, family run bed and breakfast business in a rural location on the edge of the picturesque village of Appleshaw just 5 miles from both Andover and Tidworth and only a couple of miles from the A303 offering flexible accommodation with twin, double and family bedrooms available. Our cottage is centrally located for visiting historic places such as Salisbury and Winchester, both fine Cathedral cities, and just 20 minutes from Stonehenge and the charming town of Stockbridge.
Thruxton racing circuit is also close by and we are within the Test Valley which is famous for its outstanding chalk stream fishing. The cottage dates back to the early eighteen hundreds and has a wealth of character including exposed beams and open fires.

Our five spacious bedrooms comprise of two doubles, two twins and one family (sleeping 3).
We can provide equipment for small children, such as a travel cot (5 charge) and a high chair.
1 Cleaver Cottage can also be made available as an entire house let on a self-catering basis.
We also have a separate ground floor studio flat suitable for one person and available to rent on a monthly basis.
This flat has its own kitchen so you have the option of self-catering.
The room has retained its character with the original exposed beams and has a 5' king size bed.

We would ask all B&B guests to check-in between 5 pm and 7 pm and contact us beforehand to give a more approximate time of arrival.

Come off the A303 at the junction for the A342 (signposted to Marlborough & Devizes) which is to the west of Andover.
Coming from the West: At the top of the slip road, you come to a roundabout, take the first exit left and then follow the instructions continued below.
Coming from the East: At the top of the slip road take the third exit off the roundabout.
At the next roundabout take the first exit left and follow the instructions continued below.
