Fields lodge is situated at the very edge of a small, quiet village, in it's own grounds amounting to 1/3 of an acre of established shrubbery.
The village boasts a small Post Office and shop, a church and a pub.
The beach of Sandy Haven is at the edge of the village and Sandy Haven creek, a lovely tidal inlet is a 5 minute walk down an infrequently used lane from the property.
Fields Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Pembrokeshire is located on the Coast Path itself and has the benefit of the "Puffin Shuttle" picking up from just outside.
The village boasts a small Post Office and shop, a church and a pub.
The beach of Sandy Haven is at the edge of the village and Sandy Haven creek, a lovely tidal inlet is a 5 minute walk down an infrequently used lane from the property.

Recently under new ownership of Dan, who is as passionate as I am in delivering great food.
Always mention you are staying at Fields Lodge as I have an agreed partnership scheme with Dan and negotiated a discount for you on your meals.
HarbourMaster- a pub/ bistro type feel, a nice menu and a slightly younger feel than Martha's.
Although Trip Advisor has a mixed set of reviews(past ownership), I have always had a nice meal here.

There are no landings ONTO Skomer, but you can take a trip AROUND Skomer and there are also trips going out to Grassholm, the Gannets and the Dolphins.

We are fortunate to be only approximately 15 minutes drive away from the embarkation point to Skomer- Martins Haven.
Visitors to Skomer are invariably coming for the wildlife and birds in particular the Puffins & Shearwaters.
The main season for Puffins is April- End July.
If you fit a trip in during May you will be fortunate enough to see the fantastic bluebells that absolutely coat the island- to see these and the red campions 'floating' above them is a truly magical sight.

As well as the National Park, we sit on smaller paths granted by Tyr Gofal, again this path can be accessed from the back of Fields Lodge.
Take the path from Sandy Haven to Dale and you will find many hidden sandy coves that you may well find that you will have to yourself - even in the height of the summer.
