Only a 15-minute drive off junction 37 of the M6, Sedbergh is often referred to as a 'hidden gem'. Howgills Apartments - A group of 6 individual apartments sleeping from 1 to groups of 6 people. Howgills House - Offers a feel of luxury with 12 en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 28 guests. There are also 3 sofa beds which are ideal for families wishing to sleep in the same bedroom. Their central location provides convenient access to the shops, pubs, and cafes on the High Street as well as being easily accessible for the Howgill Fells.

Every room is decorated individually and some rooms have wet rooms whilst others offer roll-top baths with showers.
Please note: If you have booked a food shopping delivery (Asda & Tesco delivers all the way to our Howgills House), please make sure that you have arranged for delivery slots after 5 pm.

Once in Sedbergh, go down our Main High Street.
Turn left immediately on seeing Westwood Books building.
You will see a small lane that will take you directly up to Howgills Barn.
Please note that there are traffic lights at the bottom of the lane as the lane is only wide enough for one-way traffic.
So now it's even easier to get too little old Sedbergh as Carlisle is on a 40-minute drive away!
The closest train station to Sedbergh is 'Oxenholme the Lake District' which is in Kendal.
Once in Sedbergh, go down our Main High Street.

This apartment has 2 bedrooms (double and a bunk room) and sleeps up to 6 guests.
There is a bathroom with bath and shower.
There is a door to the rear of the apartment onto a terrace with outdoor seating.
The kitchen is a fully integrated kitchen with everything you might need, including a washing machine, oven, fridge, freezer, and microwave.
Only a two-minute walk into the small centre of Sedbergh which offers lots of lovely cafes, pubs, and restaurants.
This apartment has 2 bedrooms (double and a bunk room) and sleeps up to 6 guests.
