Ty'r Chanter Bed and Breakfast near Crickhowell, is a family home of four boys, four dogs and a menagerie of other animals. Ty'r Chanter B&B is situated near the lovely market town of Crickhowell, overlooking the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. The River Usk runs below us, I can think of no where more beautiful. We have three double bedrooms and a childrens room where you can come and switch-off from your busy day-to-day routine or you can come and have a more energetic visit in the vast surroundings.
We are surrounded by riding, walking, watersports at Llangorse Lake, clay pigeon shooting and antiques shopping. Hay-on-Wye is 30 minutes away, if you love fishing we can organise trout or salmon fishing on the Usk. If you would like to bring your children or your dogs, both are hugely welcome. We have been recommended by Alastair Sawday and our visitors regularly return year after year.
In 2019 Alastair Sawday picked his personal favourites and we were lucky enough to be one of them!
