Open all year, the Thrums extends the warmest of welcomes to visitors old and new, from all over the world. Located in the small town of Kirriemuir, also known as the 'Gateway to the Glens', there is plenty to do during your stay with us. We are the ideal location for a short break or holiday at the foot of the Angus Glens, and offer ample off street private parking for those arriving by car.

Dining within the hotel is a real pleasure where our chef's create an excellent and varied menu that is well renowned for its quality and flavours. Stay in one of our nine rooms, each with full en-suite facilities, colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

Our dining room is open seven days a week from midday through until 8.00pm each night.
High teas are served from 4.30pm to 7.30pm daily and breakfast is from 7.00am to 9.30am daily.
