Exit M6 at Junction 36 (signposted Kendal) and at roundabout take 1st exit onto A590 (A591).
Take the A6 (signposted 'SOUTH KENDAL') and follow the road until you join a one way system.
Keep to the left hand lane*.
Exit M6 at Junction 39 or 37 and follow the A6 or A684 signposted to KENDAL, we would recommend if coming from Carlisle taking Junction 39 and following the A6.
On reaching Kendal, join the one way system around Kendal and follow signs for LANCASTER then Abbot Hall Art Gallery & Brewery Arts Centre.
