The Manor Cottages journey began in 1989 with a Colin and Angela, the original owners, renting their little stables out for self-catering holidays. Next a few friends ask for help with letting their properties out and then, before they knew it, Manor Cottages were up and running and slowly but surely grew from a couple to 40 cottages over the next 15 years.
In 2005 they met current owner, Chris Grimes, who took over the business at a crucial stage where Angela and Colin felt they had done what they could for the business which, at this stage, was with the aid of good old fashioned wall charts for 'live' availability and a one page website.
