In its time it has been many things, from a butcher, baker, and nightclub, to the hidden, historical gem of Bathgate that it is now.
The building was lovingly transformed and re-opened as a public house in the mid nineties, with great care taken to keep the original 'traditional' feel in place, while offering a contemporary touch, especially in the restaurant.
