Four generations of the Fletcher-Brewer family have developed Porth Tocyn for over 70 years to become one of Wales' foremost country hotels. Sitting on the headland beyond the sailing village of Abersoch, with stunning views across Cardigan Bay and out to Snowdonia, the hotel is furnished with country antiques. A series of cosy & comfortable sitting rooms filled with country antiques, fresh flowers, books & magazines, makes relaxing so easy.

A series of cosy & comfortable sitting rooms filled with country antiques, fresh flowers, books & magazines, makes relaxing so easy.
Even our "Snug" double bedded rooms have lovely king size double beds".
Most of our double & single rooms will take an extra bed at no extra charge; one of our singles converts into built in bunk beds!
Room 11 is a sea view double room with an ante room with day bed, plus an additional pull out single bed - very suitable for younger families.
Several double rooms are inter-connected with double bedded rooms making them ideal for larger families of four if not five.
We have also have a few cots available but always recommend that their own bedding is brought with you for that familiarity.

Monday through Saturday, our seasonal lunch menu's give you a variety of choices whether your after superfood salads or wishing to indulge yourself in fresh fish, fillet steaks & Porth Tocyn puddings: al fresco on the terrace, in the extensive gardens or inside in the restaurant.

There is a dedicated area for children to escape to, including a cosy snug with tv, dvds/videos & a games room with table tennis.
High chairs, cots & baby listening devices are available.
So too is the use of a fridge & microwave oven for the parents of younger children.
High teas are laid on for younger residents' each evening at 5.30pm.
Dinner menus are adapted for those youngsters over 6 years old who stay up for dinner (see pricing) & now we also offer residents a light supper alternative to dinner, to make family dining more user friendly within the hotel.
There is a dedicated area for children to escape to, including a cosy snug with tv, dvds/videos & a games room with table tennis.
