Beacon Cottage Farm Holidays is part of a traditional Cornish family farm. We are situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Heritage Coast. In 2014 the area was awarded The Dark Skies Status. The Southwest Coast Path passes our door at Wheal Coates, the site of Cornwall's most iconic tin mine as seen in the popular BBC Poldark television series.
Giving direct access to some of the finest sea and coastal scenery in Cornwall. A haven for walkers, conservationists, photographers, bird and nature watchers. The farm is a mixture of beef and arable of approximately 650 acres with a home bred herd of cows and calves, sheep and chickens. We are 10 minutes' walk from the National Trusts Chapel Porth Beach with its spectacular unspoilt sandy cove offering excellent bathing and surfing, caves to explore and delightful shallow rock pools for little children to play in.
The small picturesque village of St. Agnes is just a short drive away or you can walk along a scenic footpath that runs through fields and by the foot of St. Agnes Beacon.

The Sawle family have been living at and running Beacon Cottage Farm since 1770.
We started taking visitors here in 1910 with guests staying in the farm house for B&B.
In 1927 old busses and furniture removal wagons were kitted out and used to accommodate holiday makers.
This gradually progressed into camping as tents, motor homes and caravans became available.
The camping park has been designed around a central yard by the farmhouse with original farm buildings converted into shower facilities, laundry, dishwashing and reception.

The 70 individually numbered pitches are set out in 6 small, level, landscaped paddocks approximately 4 acres in extent.
Two of the paddocks enjoy spectacular sea and coastal views while the others are surrounded by trees and shrubs offering shelter for those who prefer it.
The facilities are located in tastefully converted barns around a central yard by the farmhouse with the camping paddocks leading off this area.
No pitches are too close or too far away from the facilities.
There are 3 recycling areas on the park and we pride ourselves for sending as little refuse as possible into landfill.

If you wish to come and stay during the school holidays you can book a pitch and pay the usual pitch fees for the extra nights.
When the caravan is sited on the pitch you can come and go and stay in the caravan whenever you choose.
You are free to come and go to your caravan at any time.
