A true labour of love, the 17th century cottage has been fully restored by your hosts Angela and Alban over the past 40 years and is full of unique character and charm.
Alongside the more traditional fireplace, gazebo and conservatory, expect carvings, stained glass, magical gardens, and little wooden mushrooms sprouting from the furniture. The unique character of Spindle Cottage has not gone unnoticed. The 17th century cottage feeds the imagination with unique craftsmanship and beautiful surroundings. Alban built the Shepherd's Hut in memory of his granddad William commonly known as 'Old Shep'.

Back in 1966, the chance to take on the total renovation of this 370 year old cottage was a joy for Alban.
Over the following 50 years he worked to enhance the character and individuality of the site with his ingenuity and imagination.

The charming self-catered cottage sleeps up to 5 guests and includes a conservatory, modern kitchen, private outdoor seating/BBQ area, 3 bedrooms and cosy lounge with a wood burning stove.

The hut was built with local cedar and beams from the disused Binegar railway station were used to make the furniture and double bed.
