Welcome to Hillside, our family-owned and run bed & breakfast in the beautiful village of Sandford. Hillside is a cottage with a history - it has been the village forge, the shop and a Bed and Breakfast. We are pleased to have reinstated the latter.
Sandford is one of Mid Devon's most picturesque villages. Ideally located just two minutes from Crediton and 8 miles from Exeter it offers all the charm of a quintessential Devon village within minutes of excellent transport links and amenities. The village boasts two excellent pubs, both with restaurants. The post office offers an array of local produce and wares.
From the outskirts of the village, runs the Sandford to Crediton footpath which passes through the Millennium Green, crossing several times over a pretty stream, winding its way up through woodlands and into the outskirts of Crediton. Our guest breakfast room is situated at the front of cottage.

The dcor has a calming and relaxing feel, just right for your stay in the heart of Devon.
We have a separate suite available, which is just perfect for families.
The main bedroom is a large room, with a luxurious kingsize bed that you will simply not want to leave.
There is a chaise longue at the foot of the bed, offering you the ability to curl up and relax with a good book.
The room is equipped with a 40inch Sony television, a generous hospitality tray that includes a Tassimo drinks machine, with a selection of coffee, tea, fruit teas and hot chocolate.
