Darcy's Cottages are set behind Holtby House, a beautiful Gentleman's Country Residence in the centre of the pretty village of Holtby on the edge of York City. Darcy's Cottage and Willoughby's Loft have one bedroom and sleep two. Dashwood has two bedrooms and sleeps four. Holtby House has a large walled garden with chickens roaming and an orchard, where occasionally there are piglets.
All the cottages have the creature comforts you would expect including Superfast broadband, LED TVs, Sky TV, DVD players, radios and dishwashers. Some have Nespresso machines. They have been described as York's finest luxury cottages.

I am not Yorkshire born or bred having moved here sixteen years ago for my two Deaf sons to attend St John's School for the Deaf.

By Car If you are driving and using satnav, the address is Holtby House, Main Street Holtby York YO19 5UD.
This will take you into the village.
If you are coming from the A166, Holtby House is on the right hand side, just after a bungalow set on a slight hill.
If you reach the church then you have gone three houses too far.
If you are coming from Holtby Lane or through Warthill then we are the third house after the church on the left hand side.
Look for a wide entrance and pillars slightly further up the driveway.
This will take you into the village.
