Here at CCS we hold a wide range of Art classes and workshops to suit all abilities, including weekly, monthly and one off events in a wide array of different subject and media.
Born on a Welsh Hill Farm near Pontypool, Jantien works in a variety of medium and draws inspiration from the faces and places of South Wales. Twice a year CCS hosts a beautiful and varied exhibition including works by Jantien Powell, the students and Guest tutors of the Studio as well as local Artists and Makers.

Services
We are very happy to offer group bookings for between 10 and 12 people at a 20% reduction including a complimentary home made lunch (prices differ according to the tutor you would like to book).
You can either book one of the workshops from our programme (subject to availability) or we can arrange a date, tutor and topic that suits your group.
Please note that there will be a further 5 charge pp for any classes requiring a model.
We also offer a mornings tutored sketching in the garden, or a two hour workshop or demo in the Studio followed by a delicious complimentary home made lunch in the conservatory for groups of 10-12 people at a price of 30 pp.

She has been a professional artist and tutor since 2003.
Aine Divine studied Art at the Crawford College of Art, and has won several awards for her portraiture.
She recently made the final of the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year competition.
Alison Board spent many years working in the Arts before pursuing her ambition of studying for an Art degree in 2009.
She has been a professional artist and tutor since 2003.

I have always loved to draw and paint and I feel that living on an isolated farm really helped me to develop those skills while I was young.
While my urban friends met up and played together with my brother and I spent a lot of time drawing and we have both gone on to pursue careers that centre around those skills.
I love to paint life as I see it around me, the beautiful Welsh countryside, the Coast, the hill farms and their inhabitants, these are the things that are dear to me.
