Foxhill Barn offers you Four Star Bed and Breakfast accommodation with one double room, one twin room and one family room. Foxhill Barn bed and breakfast is located just outside Gisburn in the Ribble Valley, near to the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District offering you the opportunity to relax and unwind in peaceful and idyllic surroundings.

Here you will have the opportunity to sit back and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views that greet you on arrival at Foxhill Barn B&B. Foxhill Barn provides an ideal base for those of you who enjoy a walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing or sightseeing holiday or short break. We are an ideally placed B&B for walking on the Ribble Way. We are also near Barnoldswick and Thornton in Craven so also ideal for the Pennine Way and the Pendle Way and close by are many other walks.

Foxhill Barn bed and breakfast is located just outside Gisburn in the Ribble Valley, near to the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District offering you the opportunity to relax and unwind in peaceful and idyllic surroundings.
Our luxury accommodation comprises three comfortable and tastefully furnished bedrooms, including one family room, one double and one twin.
A spectacular panorama, which includes two of the three peaks, can be enjoyed from our North-facing bedrooms, while to the South is a magnificent view of Pendle Hill.
As you will discover, our traditional Lancashire breakfasts really set you up for the day.
We pride ourselves on supporting local suppliers where possible.
For instance, our bacon and sausage is supplied by Robert Hanson of Gisburn, and we get our free range eggs from a farm located just two miles down the road in Rimington.
We make our own jams and marmalades, and you will always be offered a selection to try with your toast, providing you have left enough room!
In addition to our full English we have a choice of lighter alternatives to suit all tastes, with vegetarian and gluten free options available.
Please Note:- If your Satnav sends you right off the A682 onto Stocks Lane, ignore it stay on the A682 for another 400 yards untill you see the Foxhill sign or the next turning right.
Leave the M65 at junction 13 (A682 Kendal turn-off), and follow the A682 north towards Gisburn.
After 6 miles you will see a sign for Foxhill Bed & Breakfast on your right.
Turn right, follow the road for 400 metres, then take your first left (also signposted).
Follow the A682 south towards Nelson for 1.7 miles.
Shortly after passing Todber Caravan Park on your left you will see a sign for Foxhill Bed & Breakfast on your left.
The Forest of Bowland was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in 1964 because the landscape was thought to be of national importance and worthy of protection.
The primary purpose of this designation is to conserve and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of the area, to keep the Forest of Bowland special.
In Gisburn village, just 2 miles away, you will find the White Bull, a welcoming pub that has proved popular with many of our guests (closed Mondays).
There is also La Locanda, an authentic Italian restaurant, Hindelini's, a fabulous gourmet cafe (open daily plus some evenings) and the Delicious Deli & Cafe (open until 4.45pm for hot food and 6.45pm for cakes and hot drinks).
We have a comprehensive range of local maps, guide books and leaflets for your reference plus a range of local route maps you can borrow.
Plus local knowledge gained over four generations.

Pendle Walking Festival is a week of free guided walks catering for all abilities, including children usually held at the end of August beginning of September each year.
