Catch the picture postcard railway branch line to Millbrook B&B with Swanage Railway. Steam trains run through the beautiful Purbeck countryside and past Corfe Castle to the sandy beach of Swanage. During high season it's even possible to catch the train from Wareham on the London Waterloo to Weymouth mainline. Durlston Castle and Country Park is a countryside paradise just 30 minutes' walk from Millbrook Bed & Breakfast, with coastal walking, stunning views, and amazing wildlife.

This picture was taken from Durlston Country Park looking back east along the South West Coast Path, Peveril Point can be clearly seen with Swanage Bay behind and Old Harry Rocks in the mist. Swanage Pier is an integral part of the character of Swanage, reflecting its Victorian splendour and rich heritage. Enjoy a stroll with the finest views of Swanage and visit the cafe and gift shop.

We are so lucky to live in Dorset, a uniquely beautiful county, the perfect destination for that perfect break. Beaches, hills, heathland, just mile upon mile of unspoilt British countryside just waiting to be explored.
Services
If you are travelling by car, please take note of our Car Park details below.
You can see photos of our house and car park down below which will help you to find us easier.
Swanage is a Victorian town and therefore was built when cars were not in the plan.
We are lucky enough to have our own off-road parking with space for 6 cars on a first come first served basis, very few Hotels/B&Bs in Swanage can boast better.
Our car park can be found around the rear of Millbrook and is accessed via Court Road about twenty-five metres up on the left.
Children & Pets: We do not accept pets or children under the age of 4. All children will be charged at full adult rate.
If you require a shorter stay then do please contact us directly.
Where shorter gaps exist between bookings, we do generally allow them to be booked.
If in any doubt then don't hesitate to get in touch.
If the booking is cancelled 14 or more days before arrival, then a charge equal to 5 per booking will be made.
If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, then a charge equal to 25% of the stay will be made.
All rooms have a hospitality tray containing a bottle of filtered water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and herbal tea, along with sugar, milk, and a luxury Borders biscuit.
The tray is replenished every day of your stay.
We have free, high speed Wi-Fi which is easily accessed and available throughout the whole house.
Please note we are a non-smoking guest house and have a zero tolerance to anyone caught smoking in the premises.
We do have a bench at the front of the property and a sand filled bin to dispose of your cigarette ends.
The most important meal of the day!

Swanage, Durdle Door, Swanage Railway, Old Harry Rocks, Isle of Purbeck, Jurassic Coast, South West Coast Path, Colmers Hill to name just a few, there are so many places to visit and things to do whilst staying in Swanage that we can't name them all!
Look further down for a list of walks, again there are so many places to walk that we can't list them all but these are firm favourites for us and our guests.
We also update our Blog with places we visit so take a look there too for some great ideas on things to do in Swanage and the surrounding Dorset area.
