The little boy who was 18 months old, when we moved here in 2001 and who practiced his walking on the sand at Harlyn Bay - is now a young man of twenty.
Our younger son is sixteeen.
We bought the farm in our minds, even before we viewed it, driving along the lane and realising it's enviable position overlooking the Little Petherick Creek, towards the Camel Estuary and Rock, so close to Padstow and the north coast of Cornwall.
The cottages have been converted from a range of traditional slate barns and stores arranged in a horseshoe with the farmhouse and we are proud to hold a 4 stars Gold award from Visit England.

This quirky "upside down" two storey cottage was half of the old grain storage barn and is named after the Owls, that now often roost and breed in a nearby open barn on our farm.
It is cosy enough for couples, whilst offering plenty of space for families.
The entrance is up several steps to a stable door opening into the large living room and kitchen.
This room takes full advantage of the views over the gardens towards the Camel estuary in one direction and towards St Beock Downs in the other.
Having windows on three sides and a high ceiling, it is light and airy.
