Almardon is adjacent to the meadows park and has access onto the walkway and The National Cycle Route No 7 cycle track is at the bottom of the garden. The Rob Roy Way long distance walk from Drymen to Pitlochry passes through Callander. Stirling Castle, Doune Castle and Loch Katrine are all just a short drive from Callander and are a great day out for all the family.

We stayed in Almardon 13th to 20th May,to say it is one of the nicest cottages we have ever stayed in is to put it mildly.Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms,and everything catered for in the house.. In an idylic spot a few minutes walk from Callander town centre. The rear garden leads onto the cycle path, and you feel immediately you are out in the peace and quiet of the countryside.Margaret the owner was a very welcoming lady, and she should be very proud of the house. My son is hoping to come with his family next year, and we most certainly are going to book again. A little gem of a find.
