Oozing Victorian charm, the house itself dates from 1829. Guest bedrooms are located over three floors, and all seven bedrooms are individually furnished, boasting many original period features. With a choice of doubles, four-poster rooms and a twin room, all have en-suite showers or baths, and plenty of little luxuries from free Wi-Fi to a hot drinks station.

Named after the famous Lake District lakes, all seven guest bedrooms are individually styled, with complimentary toiletries, a hot drinks station and free Wifi.
Boasting three, four-poster bedrooms (perfect for a romantic getaway, an indulgent treat, or a special occasion), one garden view double bedroom, a garden view twin bedroom and a cosy double bedroom - all bedrooms are private en-suite.
We have a choice of three, 4-poster bedrooms available, each with their own en-suite facilities.
Perfect for that special occasion, or romantic night away.
The terms for four-poster rooms, double rooms and twin rooms assume occupancy by two people at the adult rate.
Children are charged as per the Child Policy.
All rooms have en-suite facilities.
Check in time is from 3.00 pm and check out time is 10.30 am.

The four main bodies of water in the Lake District where you can enjoy a relaxing lake cruise are Windermere, Coniston Water, Derwentwater and Ullswater.
Travelling to Windermere on the M6 take exit 36, onto the A590, signposted to South Lakes and Kendal.
At the roundabout follow signs to Windermere on the A591.
Turn left through Windermere at the Windermere Hotel, and follow the one way system through the village, and on to Bowness on Windermere.
After approximately half a mile turn left into Lake Road and almost immediately turn right into Princes Road.
Chestnuts is the first property on the right (located right on the corner as you make the turn) and the entrance to the car park is immediately after the property.
