Parsonage Farm Bed & Breakfast is a traditional 17th century farmhouse and smallholding with log fires, comfortable accommodation, delicious meals, and beautiful gardens. We have a walled kitchen garden, apple orchard, honey bees and are situated directly adjacent the parish church of Over Stowey, a quiet village in the Quantock Hills a designated "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" in Somerset.
The picturesque village of Nether Stowey with it's Coleridge and Wordsworth connections is a twenty minute walk across the fields. Walks over the hills, woodland and moors begin at the doorstep. The quality of life here is rich. That notion of 'exclusivity', familiar to those drawn to five star hotels, is countered here by a profound inclusivity. This is a place that encourages you to unwind.

Parsonage Farm is a smallholding run on organic principles and we are committed to self-sufficiency as much as possible.
We have a large walled south facing kitchen garden which has a mixture of fruit, vegetables, flowers, and a small spring fed stream.
It has developed over the years and is now set out in a semi-formal parterre inspired design.
Two colonies of honey bees are also part of the gardens.
Guests are welcome to use and enjoy this beautiful space.
Beyond the walled garden is an acre of orchard, the source of the delicious juice served at breakfast.

The hills are a special mix of moorland, historic oak wood forests and farmland running down to the Bristol Channel.

Nestled on the edge of the Quantock Hills in Somerset, in a little village called Over Stowey, you will find the delights of Parsonage Farm - a traditional 17th century farmhouse complete with log fires, beautiful gardens, cosy bedrooms and delicious food, with rambles into the countryside beginning right from the front-door.
Run by Suki Lilienthal and Richard Ince, Parsonage Farm is the perfect place to escape and relax amidst the rolling hills and purple heather fields of the Quantocks.
And that is exactly what I went to do earlier this month, spending two nights at the farm and becoming accustomed to slow-living and the peace and quiet of the hills - it was somewhat difficult to leave.
