With holidaying for over 10 years in the Yorkshire Dales we loved it so much that we decided to move here. We are now lucky enough to call Swaledale our home. Billy Gills cottage is named after William Gill who had the buildings in his family for over 100 years and spent its life as a drapers, outfitters.
It's the ideal self-catering holiday cottage situated in Swaledale.
We have recently renovated this lovely cottage to provide luxury accommodation for couples.
It's ideal if you want a romatic break or just somewhere to come and relax.
The views are breathtaking from the south facing windows and private patio area.
The scenery is forever changing, the wildlife in abundance, peace and tranquility.

The hut is located in a secluded location with far reaching views of the valley.
There is a short walk on a steep slope to get to the hut, however we're sure you'll agree it's worth the effort for the privacy and views.
Parking is on the gravelled drive at the top.
We've loved creating this idyllic getaway for two.
The feelings of been a child again making dens and wanting to sleep outside have all been fulfilled (be it a little more luxurious!).
