The Lizard Peninsula is one of the most delightful and interesting parts of Cornwall.
Surrounded by the sea it has a sense of wildness and solitude that is rare in these times.
A string of fishing villages and coves are connected by imposing cliffs and seascapes and it is possible to walk for miles along coastal paths amidst breathtaking scenery or spend the day sunbathing and swimming on one of the many beaches.
Helston can be regarded as the Capital of the Lizard which is a busy town of stone houses and terraces.
