The Melody Restaurant takes its name from the 1971 British film of the same name about 'puppy love' (directed by Waris Hussein), which featured a number of scenes filmed in the then St Paul's School.
The film was released in the UK as S.W.A.L.K. (Sealed With A Loving Kiss, a term which originated as a traditional note written on the envelopes of love letters by British schoolchildren).
