The Cotswold way is within a short walk and the elegance of Regency Cheltenham with its superb restaurants, shops, theatre and racecourse, all within a few minutes drive. Therefore Detmore House offers the best of both worlds.

Detmore House is a 5-star boutique style Bed & Breakfast and has been the home of Hugh & Gill for over 20 years.
The property dates from 1547, the main section being 1840 with an addition of a contemporary extension/refurbishment in 2008.
Situated down a long private drive off the main A40 in the area of Charlton Kings, approximately 3 miles from the town centre.
If using Sat Nav/GPS we recommend inputting Detmore Close.
Specifically our driveway is off Detmore Close, before the very first house.
Once you have secured your stay, our agreement is deemed a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable.
If you need to cancel, please contact us immediately followed up in writing.
For cancellations made up to 7 days before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance.
For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without canceling you will be liable for the total amount (unless we can rebook the room).
For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance for longer stays and/or for group bookings, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
An award-winning three acre garden surrounding a fine 18th century Manor House.
The garden features luxuriant terraces and wide herbaceous borders with stunning plant, texture and colour combinations.
Imaginative topiary includes a knot garden, parterre and topiary walk and there are several spring-fed water features including a raised basket pond from the Great Exhibition of 1851.
You will also find a unique Shade House, a serene White Garden and many creatively planted pots.
A raised 18th century walk provides an enticing link to the Cotswold landscape beyond.
