Ideal as a base for fell walkers, mountain bikers, or anyone looking simply to relax, unwind and enjoy the breath taking views.
The bungalow is in a superb location in Patterdale, with panoramic views of Place Fell from the living room window. We are just down the road from Ullswater, England's most beautiful lake. There are numerous walks from the door including Helvellyn and Wainwright's Eastern Fells.
As well as walking and mountain biking, this tranquil area of the Lake District has a great range of things to do to suit the whole family, from sailing, boating and kayaking on the lake, to visiting some of the many great visitor attractions in the area.Patterdale is well served with a local village shop and post office just 2 minutes from the cottage, as well as the local White Lion Inn.

This detached bungalow is next to our house in Patterdale, and offers smart self catering accommodation for 3 people in a superb Lake District location close to Ullswater and Helvellyn.

The How. Cosy dog friendly accommodation with a rug in front of the woodburner (don't get too close!).
A small patio garden with plenty of smells and views over the road and beck to the fells and of course.
There are loads of walks to suit all leg sizes and energy levels, from quick "time for quick trip" walks along the beck to all day adventures up Helvellyn and the other fells.
The White Lion Inn is only 300 yards away and is very dog friendly, with a water bowl in the porch, and an outside seating area.
